What would you consider a company that is destine to fail? Perhaps a company with bad service or their prices are too high. To me it’s when you get so much traffic to your company and you still can’t make any actual money off of them.
I make more money than Twitter does at the moment. Sure Twitter does have more funding than I do, however I make more money from my website in the sense of advertisements. I do not understand why they have not tried this yet. Granted it isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do for a website such as theirs, you can do CPC but you could do CPM advertisements. Then if you can earn just $1 per 1,000 tweets (which would be pretty easy) you could be seeing $50,000 per day. That doesn’t count page views, just tweets. So lets say that on average for every 1 tweet their are 2 page views. Twitter could hit $100,000 per day from just a $1 CPM. It’s just plain pathetic that they are not making money and just really annoys me beyond belief.

Do you realize how much money they can make from data mining their site?
They could probably put together better statistics of almost anything out there than anyone else ever has just by mining their site.
