I enjoyed the time we had together. However short it may have been. You ran like a real champ through the best and worst of times. It is just very unfortunate that your heatsink fan couldn’t run as good as you and decided to give up one night and kill you with it.
To my readers I wanted to let you know that Tuesday night my computers processor over heated due to some issues with the heatsink as well as my motherboards safe checks. So right now I am on my very old Gateway Select computer which is running at 750mhz and has 256mb of RAM with a 8mb video card.
To further paint this picture my old computer specs were:
4 Cores @ 3ghz ea.
4gb of RAM @ 800mhz
512mb 9800GT video card
So as far as it goes for my CPU power this computer is more than 3 times slower than my previous computer but not only that, my other computer had 4 cores running more than 3 times faster than this computer I am on currently. I had 16 times more RAM in the old computer and as far as video processing goes, we wont even go there.
I am currently working on gathering some money together to build a new computer. I’m scrapping everything I can from the old computer but will be building around the Intel Core i5 processor. I am expecting to have this up and running in a week or two as I already have a decent amount of money saved up. If you want to help me out there are a few ways to do so.

Intel is the way to go, if you have never installed an intel processor though i have a small warning for you, when you push in the heatsink follow the instructions or you may break your motherboard, they take a bit of force to push in and you have to push the four pins in the correct order, and when you do push them in you will actually feel the motherboard bend a tiny bit (ive never installed an AMD before so i dont know how they compare, ive heard that intel are the more annoying to install of the two though)…
In the one pc I had AMD the processor crapped out on me 2 months after i got it, in all of my intel pc’s (except the last laptop that was built by the idiots at HP) ive had no problems with the processors at all, so im intel for life now, may be more expensive, but i know im getting a proper processor with a good heatsink right out of the box. and hell, every time i watch the comercial where they are cutting the cake I cant help but chuckle a bit.
