Google countersues haircutter company for very funny results.

flowbee Google countersues haircutter company for very funny results.

August of 2009 haircutting system maker Flowbee filed a lawsuit against Google in federal district court in Corpus Christi, Texas. They are one of dozens of companies that have sued Google over their AdWords program selling trademarked keywords to competitors. This then causes a competitor to gain competition on the company and it ends up creating a lawsuit like this one.

Thursday Google gave us their response. Google has denied the allegations brought against them by Rosetta Stone Flowbee. Not only that but they have counter sued Rosetta Stone Flowbee for a breach in their AdWords contract. Because they filed instant action in Texas they did not adhere to having to file their claim in the Santa Clara County, California court. They are suing them for the money it cost them to transfer to case. I have to admit I did learn something from that one, I never knew that I had to take them to court at Santa Clara County. I suppose it’s good thing I’m not a greedy person that tries to get money by filing stupid lawsuits.

Anyway on with how this becomes funny. The first would be why I crossed Rosetta Stone. Google took their response from one they made for Rosetta Stone and used it for Flowbee. However they forgot to replace Rosetta Stone with Flowbee in a couple of instances in the document. I don’t know if this will really mess anything up but I suppose it shows people under analyze things. Further more I suppose Google gets sued for this a lot and then calls people out on that same minor detail.

Next up is how Flowbee defined the internet. They talk about how you can access the internet “world wide web” through Microsoft Internet Explorer and Macintosh Safari. Google agreed with them on how they defined the internet, didn’t have anything major they disagreed with. What they did get confused on was that program called Macintosh Safari. It’s just called Safari Flowbee, good try but you tried to sound overly smart and ended up making a jerk (for lack of a better word) out of yourself.
