Game Stop offering 50% extra on game trade-ins.

Well today I stopped by Game Stop because the people at Wal Mart were being very unhelpful. All I wanted was Pure, which was $20 on their website and at the store it was out of the glass case but the sticker said $49.99 so I just asked if they could scan it. The lady said she didn’t have one, okay fine so I ask if she knew if this was the right price because their online price was $20. She told me they don’t price match their online price. Alright thanks asshole see if I shop here again. I actually walked out, I had grocery shopping to do but I did it at Sullivans instead, which wont happen again because they are too expensive, most likely because of Wal Mart.

Anyway so I go to Game Stop to pick the game up (they didn’t have it so I picked up Red Faction Guerilla for $20 instead) I noticed they are offering 50% extra on all your games you trade in. This is massive. Lets say you get $20 for a game normally, you’ll get $30 for it. What this means for me is I have a lot of games to play through, and then trade into them before this is up. I will most likely get rid of MGS:4, GTA:4, Fallout 3 and Fairytale Fights. I should be able to get at least $50 I would think and I really don’t play those games anyway. It’d be more than enough to cover the rest of my Final Fantasy XIII pre order.

Here are the rules and what not for this fantastic offer:

Trade any games and receive an extra 50% trade-in credit.

Expires: 3/14/2010. Offer not good on cash trades. Trades must be in full working condition to receive full value. Offer good towards games normally accepted in trade only. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Trade-ins subject to manager approval. See store associate for details. No dealers. Offer valid in the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam only.
