Diablo 3 Relase Date Announced
Sorry for the hook line and sinker however if you go into your local GameStop and look at their upcoming PC games you can preorder you may notice that Diablo III is on that list. Not only that but they give the release date of 12/31/10. Pretty interesting… I understand that my word is only good as a picture and unfortunately I didn’t have time to snap a picture. Next time I stop into my GameStop however, I will be sure to snap a quick picture for all of you.
However if you would like to preorder it, GameStop is already taking preorders. I am pretty curious if this is legal for them to do however. Blizzard has yet to even give a guess of when the game will be released so why can GameStop already be telling their customers when it will be released? Most likely this game wont be out until late 2011, if that.

Its not their actual release date, when they enter a game into their computer system they have to provide a date. The did it for star craft 2 as well. If you look at gamestops website, it just says “pre order” without a date included like normal. I asked them about EAMMA as well and he said that the computer said the release date was april 31 of 2011 if i remember right and EA Sports has already stated its going to be released sometime in 2010.
So games that dont have an announced release date they have to put one into their in store preorder system anyway I assume.
Blizzard also say on their website that its to early to announce a release date on their FAQ, but ive seen images they have released saying it will be released sometime in 2012.

If you read my article in it’s entirety I already covered about how Blizzard didn’t say when the game was going to be released. For a release date GameStop should be able to enter “TBA” like every other company that deals with video games.
