Whether you just bought a new next gen gaming console or you are just looking to build up your video game library on the cheap, I’m sure this guide will help you out signicantly.

GameStop

While I can’t say I’d recommend using them when you want money from your games there are plenty of occasions when GameStop will offer some good deals on used games. Not only that  but even when they don’t have a deal going on their used games tend to be at a bargain price providing the game has been out for a month or so. Combine this with their edge card (10% off used stuff) that costs $15 a year and comes with a magazine subscription and you are all set to start saving a bundle of money.

eBay

While eBay is not a company I am too terribly happy with, you can usually find excellent deals on video games. I know when my Xbox 360 died on me I sold off all of my Xbox games on there and a very lucky person got my copy of Forza 3 (only been out for a month) for just over $30. Just be sure the seller has included pictures of the game which you will receive and that it is free of scratches and you could end up saving 50% or more on the games you want to buy.

Amazon

I haven’t used Amazon too much when it comes to ordering video games online but there are people that will swear by them. I must say most of the time you can buy a new game from them for $10 – $20 off the list price of the game which is fantastic if you are looking to save money.

List of GOOD yet CHEAP games

Just to help you get started I made a little list for you compiled of games you can buy from Amazon right now for an excellent price. With eBay and GameStop the prices change which is why I decided to use Amazon for the list instead of the other 2. I will keep adding to this list as I have more free time. I only used Xbox 360 and PS3 because in my opinion Wii games are already fairly cheap, it’s Xbox 360 and PS3 that take a little bit more digging to find good deals.
